Stratcon Energy and Trading has been honored to host Mr. Sylvester Turner, the Mayor of Houston, (USA), at a dinner on his visit to Ghana. Part of the purpose of his visit was to explore exciting new economic opportunities and strengthen Ghana’s trade relations with the United States.
This visit was exceptionally significant as Houston serves as a global hub in the energy sector, opening up for investment opportunities, collaboration, and strategic partnerships in the petroleum sector.
In his discussion with Mr. Harry Campbell and Mr. Albert Obimpeh-Abedi, (CEOs of Stratcon Energy and Trading), Mr. Turner had defined Ghana as a land of opportunity in petroleum sector and shared his hope for growth in the relationship in between Ghana and Houston.
Over the past decade, Ghana has cultivated strong ties with the city of Houston, leading to a substantial increase in trade between the two. Building on this longstanding relationship, it is anticipated that trade between Ghana and Houston will experience exponential growth in the future.
Mr. Turner and his delegation, including the Vice-Mayor, Mrs Martha Castex-Tatum, described their trip to Ghana as both exciting and highly productive. They recognized Ghana as a destination with a favorable investment climate, making it an excellent choice for exploring potential business opportunities.
