Stratcon Energy and Trading Limited is a limited liability entity duly incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Ghana. It is an integral part of the Stratcon Holdings Ltd., which is an indigenous registered holding. Stratcon Energy and Trading is a Bulk Distribution Company (“BDC”) licensed by the National Petroleum Authority of Ghana (“NPA”) since 2017. We have the ambition to play a major role in the development of downstream sector in Ghana and become the number one supplier of petroleum products in the West African region. As of 2022, we are in the top 6 BDCs in Import and Export in Ghana, which makes Stratcon Energy and Trading one of the pioneer players in Ghana’s downstream sector.

In 2018 Stratcon entered into joint trading and service agreements with a major oil trading company located in Europe: TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping SA (formerly Totsa Total Oil Trading SA), a subsidiary of the TOTAL GROUP SE. The agreements with TotalEnergies and other various local/international trading partners gives Stratcon the ability to secure a consistent quality of finished petroleum products. In addition, it gives Stratcon the ability to leverage the financial capabilities of our partners to enable local off-takers more payment financial flexibility.
With offices in Dubai, U.A.E and Accra, Ghana, Stratcon are in the process of creating a robust downstream petroleum distribution company designed to offer the best in optionality and efficiency to our counter-parties.

As of August 2021, there are approximately thirty-two active BDCs operating in the Republic of Ghana. However, just six BDCs control over 85% of the total market share. While these six competitors may offer most of the same products and services that Stratcon does, our competitive advantage lies in our horizontal integration and flexible financing that we are able to offer our target off-taker clients, which other competitors cannot.
