Stratcon offshore floating oil refinery

Stratcon Offshore Floating Oil refinery is a 30,000 barrel per day (BPD) crude oil refinery with onshore support infrastructure located at the Stratcon BDC Terminal at Funko-Takoradi, Western Region. This $1.2 billion project was initiated in January, 2020 but the ground breaking was delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The project is in the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phase and shall be out for bid third quarter 2021. The Stratcon Offshore Floating Oil Refinery will also be supported by an offshore floating export storage facility with two-way reverse pumping to both onshore and offshore terminals. Floating units are expected to go into fabrication last quarter of 2021 and delivered for operations by October 1, 2023. .
